Washing at Brite WorX
How long does a car wash take?
About three minutes from the moment you pull onto the conveyor to the moment you drive off dry. There is no appointment and no queue system — you arrive, you choose a wash, and you go through.
What are your hours?
Every Brite WorX location is open every day of the week, 7am to 8pm. The hours are the same at all eleven sites across Missouri and Illinois.
Are the vacuums really free?
Yes. Self-serve vacuums are free to every customer at every Brite WorX location, whether you bought a single wash or you are on a monthly plan.
What if I am not happy with my wash?
Tell the attendant before you leave. Brite WorX runs a no hassle rewash policy — if the wash did not do the job, you go back through.
Do I need to do anything before I go through?
Fold in your wing mirrors, close the windows and the sunroof, and take anything loose off the roof or the tow bar. The attendant at the entrance will guide you onto the conveyor from there.
Wash plans and membership
What is the Always Clean Club?
It is the unlimited monthly plan. You pay one price a month and wash as often as you like — once a week, once a day, or once an hour. Plans run from $22 a month for Basic up to $40 a month for The Worx.
Can I use my plan at any location?
Yes. A monthly plan works at any Brite WorX location, so you are not tied to the site you signed up at.
How do I sign up for a monthly plan?
Come inside at any Brite WorX location and the team will set you up, or download the Brite WorX app and start a plan there.
How do I change or cancel my plan?
Everything to do with an existing membership — changing your wash package, adding a vehicle, updating billing or cancelling — is on the Manage My Plan page.
What is the difference between the wash tiers?
Basic is a soft touch clean, high pressure rinse and power dry. Deluxe adds a triple foam bath, wheel clean and spot free rinse. Premium adds an enhanced wheel cleaner, underbody flush, surface protectant and tire shine. The Worx adds a ceramic coat, rain repellent and surface sealant. The full list is on the wash menu.
Looking after your car
How often should I wash my car?
Every couple of weeks suits most drivers. Wash more often if your car lives outside under trees, if you are doing a lot of motorway miles, or through a Missouri or Illinois winter when the roads are salted — salt is the thing that does real damage if it is left on.
Is an automatic car wash safe for my paint?
Modern equipment is very different from the stiff bristles people remember. Brite WorX uses a soft touch system with fresh water and filtered detergent on every pass, which is generally gentler on paint than washing at home with one bucket and a sponge that picks up grit.
Should I wash my car in winter?
Especially in winter. Road salt sits in the wheel arches and along the underbody where you cannot see it. The Premium and Worx washes include an underbody flush for exactly this.
What does a ceramic coat actually do?
It leaves a protective layer on the paint that helps water bead and run off rather than sit, so the car stays cleaner between washes and holds its shine longer. It is included in The Worx.
Do I need to dry my car afterwards?
No. Every wash finishes with a power dry, and the spot free rinse means you are not left with water marks as it dries.
Still have a question?
The team will happily answer anything that is not here.
